Silk was born Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk was a well-known actress, director and producer who also taught the course at St. Thomas University. Her parents were Peter, a distinguished academic. Anna is able to recall the first moments she experienced when she was a kid, such as being a spectator at play rehearsals. Silk had a number of commercials that she was in at a young age. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997.
