Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American singer songwriter model and actress from St. Louis Missouri. The most famous of her roles is her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. The music of Momsen is used in films and television shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister, Sloane Momsen. She studied dance at St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. In an advertisement for Shake and Bake national advertisement in 1997, Momsen was the first to act professionally when she was only three. Momsen's acting career slowed to an abrupt halt in the span of three years. Momsen was then offered the role of the main character in the film Misconceptions on WB. At the same time, Momsen appeared in the 2006 movie Saving Shiloh. Momsen also tried out for the role of Hannah Montana's title character Hannah Montana and was in the top three but the role was instead awarded instead to Miley Cyrus.
