Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in during her stage debut. Then, she appeared on Broadway for a number of shows until the year 1957, in which Li'l abner was huge at the National Theater. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, It's Tina Time. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood playing Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film received a lot of praise as well as Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. At the time, she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway, playing somber characters in order to dispel her image as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she also has made her name as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born on the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. When she was 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent in the city for her entire childhood. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
